The Story

Our client needed rooms for their oil field workers in Stanley, ND. The problem? A moratorium on temporary housing construction and the start of winter. Our solution? Buy an existing hotel and renovate it to meet our client’s needs. The result? The Target Hospitality Stanley Hotel, a 246-room facility with oversized extended-stay rooms and high-quality furniture and fixtures. The hotel features three types of rooms as well as a conference room, business center, rec room, gym and enclosed walkways. Now one of the nicest housing facilities in the region, the Stanley Hotel raises the bar in the Bakken and proves once again that Target Hospitality does whatever it takes to provide a workforce housing solution that works for our clients.

Key Challenges

Temporary housing moratorium. Working throughout the harsh, North Dakota winter in order to meet our client’s deadline.

The Extra Mile

We designed the hotel to be an attractive addition to the landscape and available to both Target Hospitality clients and transient visitors to Stanley, ND.
