The Story

After September 11, 2001, security took on a whole new meaning in the United States. When the 2002 Winter Olympics were held in Salt Lake City, Utah, the U.S. Government needed more personnel at the Games than ever before. Target Hospitality understood what needed to be done and rose to the challenge. We efficiently converted apartments, warehouses and private residences to house thousands of additional soldiers, federal agents and security personnel. At Target Hospitality, we also feel that being comfortable is a big part of being secure. That’s why we made sure our clients were housed together by task and strategically for easy event transportation.

Key Challenges

Strict timeline. Intense security. International event.

The Extra Mile

On demand, we were able to transform empty apartments into fully furnished units with telephone, cable and internet – all within 24 hours.
